Antonello Bonci (born in Pesaro, Italy) is a neurologist and a neuropsychopharmacologist. In 1985, he went to Medical School at the Catholic University of Rome, where he graduated in 1991. In that same year, he started a Residency in Neurology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata that he finished in 1995. When he left the University of California in San Francisco in 2010, Dr. Bonci was Professor in Residence in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and the Howard J. Weinberg Endowed Chair in Addiction Research.
